Jcube

 J-Cube
I consider J-Cube, a shopping mall at Jurong East, to be the best hangout place there is in Singapore. The small but enjoying mall is perfect for those who are not into the mainstream hangouts, such as Orchard Road. J-Cube has a vast variety of attractions compared to the normal shopping malls which are filled with common clothing stores and eateries. For those who enjoy hanging out with friends and interact with them, the ice skating-ring at J-Cube is perfect for you. J-Cube also has amazing outlets to tingle your taste buds, which includes flaming hot and spice, Nando’s and the freezing and sweet sensation of Marble Slab Creamery. I find J-Cube an all-in-one package and do not forget the Shaw Theatre to top it all off.

J-Cube also displays the Singapore spirit. What is the Singapore spirit? It is the smiles that you see, the happiness you enjoy together with your loved ones, the togetherness of the people, in Singapore. Unity is displayed at the ice skating-ring as you see each one of the skaters holding hands, together as one, skating and enjoying their time at J-Cube. This is the Singapore spirit and J-Cube provides the people the Singapore spirit through its large variety of attractions.

Being grateful for the building of J-Cube is without doubt, necessary. Through J-Cube, I have bonded with my friends, old and new. We would spend our time together there eating, ice skating , watching a movie or simply just cruise along the shops.

Kayaking

Kayaking
Kayaking is a sport where people either sit in a single kayak by themselves or sit with another partner in a double kayak, this sport requires both strengths from the hands as well as the body. Kayaking helps to build up ones’ perseverance as, if there is a person kayaking in an open reservoir, there might be strong winds going against the person, thus the person would preserver on to continue kayak against the wind, even though they are exhausted, to prevent themselves from ending up at some place far away from their original destination.
Kayaking is widely known in Singapore as one of the interesting sports that Singaporeans wants to take part in. kayaking was also a sport that made Singapore proud, especially during the 2011 (SEA games) edition, when the kayakers emerged as Singapore’s surprise package with an impressive bounty of two GOLDS, five silvers and three bronzes.
Kayaking is a sport that Singapore wants to excel in, however, Singapore’s kayaking isn’t really doing a very good job now, so with the supportive spirit that Singapore have, the kayakers representing Singapore will give much more into winning medals for Singapore.
I am grateful that there is this kayaking sport in Singapore as it lets me experience the feeling of kayaking. I myself is in a CCA that involves kayaking, I really love the scenery that I always see when I am kayaking. Kayaking also helps me to relieve stress and unhappiness.

Gardens by The Bay

Garden by the bay:
At Garden By The Bay, nature is widely spread. Many varieties of vegetation are planted there as an attraction to foreigners as well as local. It has attracted many tourists to visit it. There is a human made trees which is very tall and unique to people’s eyes, this human made trees have uncountable numbers of vegetation growing at the ‘trunk’ of the it, which is arranged in a special way. On some nights, speakers on the trees will play a classical music that synchronises with the flicking beat of the lights on the trees, at that moment, many people will relax and lie down in the side bench, gazing into the sky, looking at the marvellous performance done by the trees. There are other captivating human made structure, such as the two domes. In both domes, mysterious and unique looking kind of plants are planted there. It is the home to the most number of varieties of vegetation in Singpore. Many plants in both domes are rarely seen in Singapore. There is even a man- made water fall in one of the domes, it is magnificent and enormous as one will be overdosed by the sound and the feel when standing right next to it. this place can be called the best hangouts in Singapore as it is an overwhelming spot for all kinds of people to put down all their worries and just lighten up their own mood. All Sigaporeans should be always happy and this place will provide them with unlimited happiness. In conclusion, I thanks all those people that built this place as it is a truly wonder built in Singapore that let me put down all of stress and completely enjoy myself.

Arab Street

Arab Street, the perfect place for you and your friends to hang out with a wide variety of things to do there. Ranging from, savouring traditional mouth-watering Turkish delicacies to unlimited shopping of clothes of the latest trend. Arab Street is one of the best place to hang out in Singapore as it offers a mixture of tradition and modernity. Restaurants, such as the Zam Zam Restaurant, offers food which originated from Yemen, cooked the traditional way. Haji Lane provides those who craze for the latest trend clothes.

Arab Street reflects the Singapore spirit through its visitors. Visitors from all around the globe come here to chill and relax. This shows the unity of Singaporeans with Singapore, being a multi-racial country.

I am grateful for Arab Street as the place itself is a historical site. The area has been preserved well and yet mixed with a burst of colourful and amazing graffiti walls and modernised shops, defining the modernity in Arab Street. Arab Street is truly an extraordinary site.

Kinetics Rock Climbing Singapore

Kinetics Climbing Singapore Ptd. Ltd.
Rockclimbing

Lately, many Singaporean youths have been interested in the sport Rock-Climbing. This is the climbing up, down or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a usually pre-defined route without falling. This is a great workout for the upper body and a deceiving test of endurance. It may seem like it is very easy to get up, but when you set foot on the rocks on the walls, you’re bound to fall at any time. That feeling of accomplishment when you reach the top is simply pleasure. Thankfully, there are many rockclimbing sites in Singapore available for the curious youths! Similarly, there is also another sport known as bouldering. This is a simpler version of rockclimbing. This involves the practicing of gripping the different rocks on lower walls and a cushion on the floor made for crashes. Both sports are popular amongst teens in Singapore nowadays! Get your harness and get your game on!

Basketball

Basketball

Basketball is a very common sport played by two teams of five players on a rectangular court. The objective is to shoot ball through a hoop 18 inches (46 cm) in diameter and 10 feet (3.0 m) high mounted to a backboard at each end. Basketball is one of the world's most popular and widely viewed sports.
Basketball has specialized player positions and offensive and defensive structures (player positioning). Typically, the tallest and strongest members of a team will play the center or power forward positions, while slightly shorter and more agile players will play small forward, and the shortest players or those who possess the best ball handling skills and speed play point guard or shooting guard.

Among all the sports, I feel that basketball is one of the easiest sports to play. The main objective to win the game, is to score and sink in as many balls as possible into the opponents hoop and in the meantime, defend your hoop so that the opponents wont score against you. A usual game of basketball requires 10 people, 5 on each side. But if you are lack of people, do not worry! You could play a game of 2 versus 2 if there are 4 of you. It doesn’t really matter! Basketball can be played indoors or outdoors and most of the time, it is free! Thus, o feel that it should be considered as Singapore’s best.

Basketball isn’t about winning the game, but its about how you win the game, The game of basketball requires your body to be physically fit and have the stamina  as you may need to run up and down the court for example, when you are going after the ball. Basketball has many different strategies and plays that you need to be equipped with before you begin a match,. These plays will allow a wide diversity of communication between the players, allowing them to bond together and make them spiritually and mentally stronger with each other and have better teamwork. Thus I feel that basketball reflects a unique Singapore spirit on the players.

I am really grateful for this sport as the friends that I have now are mainly connected and made out of this sport. Between the plays and all the hard training, these friendships don’t come easily. Not only that, it also gave me a more fit body and also a better stamina. All in all , I can tell you that if you head down to watch a basketball match, you will be at the edge of your seats and you will find the match very exhilarating! So what are you waiting for?? Go play a game of basketball or head down to watch a match now!
