East Coast Park

East coast park

With a total land size of 185-hectares, and a scenic coastline that stretches over 15 km, East Coast Park is one of Singapore's most treasured urban getaways, attracting more than 7 million visitors a year.

Themed "Recreation for All", East Coast Park offers an exciting diversity of sporting, dining and recreational activities catering to various segments of the public. Volleyball courts, holiday chalets, restaurants and a hawker centre can all be found in this park.

Come to the park on weekends, sit under the swaying coconut palms, and enjoy having your picnics with your families or friends. Sit back and let the inviting waves and fresh perennial sea breeze provide you with an invigorating relief to the stifling city heat and humidity.

For those looking for action, East Coast Park also offers a myriad of sporting opportunities such as cycling, cable skiing and water sporting activities. Not only that, you can also bring your families and friends down to indulge in the wonderful seafood that is available there!

With the gentle breeze and the refreshing air caressing on your face, and with all the wonderful amenities, it is definitely the best place for Singaporeans and tourists to go there and relax and let go. You can bring your friends and have a great time of fellowship there and even have a picnic!!! Or even play the guitar! The number of things to do there cant be counted with our 10 fingers!

Upon going to the park, you can see many people, young or old, jogging, cycling, roller blading, dipping themselves in the crystal clear waters. You can even spot old aunties and uncles working out and just relaxing by jogging or even by playing a simple game of Frisbee or chaptek. This reflects how Singaporeans, weather young or old, their level of activeness in the recreational category and how much they enjoy doing it.

I am grateful for this wonderful place for leisure, as not many countries are as fortunate and well developed as us, to have the land and money to build this kind of amenity. Singapore is a very fortunate country and I hope that we Singaporeans can treasure this wonderful park and keep it clean and green!

( A time of fellowship with churchmates, just enjoying the picturesque view and the waves :)
