Gardens by the Bay

The Gardens by the Bay, one of the Top 10 Indoor Gardens of the World, arguably the nation’s most beautiful masterpiece. Moreover, it was recently awarded the 2014 International Thea Awards for Outstanding Achievement - Botanical Garden, by the Themed Entertainment Association.

When I first visited the Gardens by the Bay, i was really amazed by the diversity of plants. The award-winning horticultural attraction houses over 500,000 plants. The two cooled conservatories - Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, feature rare and unique plants from around the world. The horticultural, sustainability and architectural design were simply breath taking.

I was really surprised that the Flower Dome replicates the cool and dry Mediterranean climate featuring 9 different gardens such as Baobabs and Bottle Trees, Succulent Garden, Australian Garden, South African Garden, South American Garden, California Garden, Mediterranean Garden, Olive Grove and the Changing Flower Field Display from 5 continents namely Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania.

The Gardens by the Bay has the "OCBC Skyway and Supertrees" and "Free Outdoor Gardens". Suspended 22 metres above ground, between the vertical gardens of the  Supertrees, the OCBC Skyway comes alive nightly with the Garden Rhapsody - a free light and sound show.
This place shows the true Singapore spirit as it shows how far Singapore has come to be able to build this garden with the advanced technology we gave today. It also allow family and friends to bond with each other spending quality time together.
I'm grateful for these place as it brings people from all over the country to visit Singapore and a place where people can do their recreational activities or simply just relax and enjoy the view of the garden.
