This year in Fairfield, we want to be actively involved in our nation's 50th birthday celebration. The government has done so many things for us over the past years. To commemorate the enduring values that we share as Singaporeans, I will introduce some places that Singaporean teenagers tend to hangout with their friends.
1) Wild Wild Wet
"Wild Wild Wet" |
Downtown East is a place where many teenagers tend to hangout during Holidays as there are many things to do there such as bowling, barbecuing in chalets and many more! One example is Wild Wild Wet. During the June holidays, I went to Wild Wild Wet with my friends. I chose this place because the rides there are anticipating and thrilling, which helps to bond with your loved ones as you take rides together, sharing the same experiences. Rides such as Ular-lah and Lazy River is one of the things you have to try. The Lazy rivers helps one to unwind their minds and relax in the pool. You will regret not trying this activity!
It should be considered one of Singapore's best, because people who went there described it as "shiok!", which means a feeling of sheer pleasure and happiness in our Singaporean language, as known as "Singlish". Well, this leads on to the uniquely Singapore Spirit. Singlish is widely used by Singapore teenagers, and people from other country may not be able to understand, which makes it unique in Singapore.
There's so many things I can be grateful for by visiting this place. It helped me bond with my friends and also, I enjoyed my time there. In addition, this place made many memories that will forever be in my heart.
