Shaw theatres, Jcube. Shaw theatres was part of the Shaw organisation, was founded by the Shaw brothers and has been operating cinemas in Singapore since 1927. With Shaw Theatres Jcube, it now owns six multiplexes across the island. I know you are wondering, what's so great about a simple movie theater? Well I'll tell you what's so great about it. This place offers a new kind of technology, IMAX. IMAX is a huge theater with a gigantic curved screen. It's usually the most advanced top quality sound and video to show movies. Why is it better than normal theaters you ask?

I am grateful for it as this place i have visited with friend who don't stay in Singapore and come here to visit. Trust me, as soon as they sat on the extremely comfortable cinema seats, they never wanted to leave it.
