Connected to all parts of Singapore by bus and MRT, Holland Village, or as we locals shorter it to Holland V, is an extremely popular place for trendy teenagers and western expats in Singapore to gather for a drink or for dinner with their friends and families. During the day, Holland V may seem like a sleepy row of shophouses that do not offer much. However, at night, Holland V comes alive with colourful signboards, the hippest cafes in town, alfresco dining popping out onto blockaded streets and hole-in-the-wall eateries. Yet with Holland V being such a popular place for teenagers and western expats, this place still manages to retain its calm, relaxed and laid-back atmosphere that is what keeps drawing everyone back!

Since young I have always visited this place and I am always thankful what whenever I return, I can always be reassured with the same calming and soothing atmosphere that never fails to help me let go of all my stresses. I am sure many others are also thankful that Holland V provides us with no better place elsewhere to go for a drink or a bite when we feel like we need a well deserved break from life.
