One of the most popular sports in Singapore is soccer and Soccer has had a stronghold in Singapore since 1892 and has brought out some amazing players such as Lancelot Maurice Pennefather, Lim Yong Liang, Awang Bakar, Majid Ariff and Fandi Ahmad.                 Although some might say that the soccer craze has died down in singapore in recent years I feel that many Singaporeans are still very passionate about soccer but just do not have platforms for them to showcase their live for the sport.                                                                 It should be considered as Singapores best as Recently Singapores very own Lions12 was formed and Singaporeans would specially take a trip down to Malaysia just to spectate their games.  The Lions12 also managed to win the Malaysia Super League title in their debut season.                                                                      

                                                      It reflects a unique Singapore spirit as Singaporeans come together to support our country despite of their differences, and this reminds me of the times in the past where the national stadium would be filled up whenever there was a game as Singapores very own "kallang wave" I am grateful for soccer in singapore as it gives many people joy whenever they play soccer. Personally I played for the school and had a great experience with going through the vigorous training. Playing soccer with friends also help us to bond and strengthen our friendship.
